Who we are
The Why Limited trading as The Why is based in Tauranga, New Zealand. We work with businesses and organisations across New Zealand and Australia. This policy applies to this website and the forms, enquiries and newsletter signups submitted through it.

When you submit a website enquiry, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, business or organisation, email, phone number, the area you are interested in, and the information you share about your situation or requirements.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your first name and email address, along with the date and the page the signup occurred on.
If you enquire about The Why Hub, we may collect information you provide about what you are trying to manage or improve, how it is currently handled, and the timeframe involved.

Why we collect it
Enquiry information is collected so we can respond to you and understand your situation before we get back to you. Newsletter information is used only to send occasional insights and updates from The Why. Technical information helps us understand how the website is used and improve it.

Your enquiry details are used to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. Newsletter subscriptions are used to send emails from The Why. Every commercial email we send clearly identifies The Why as the sender, includes valid contact information, and provides a working unsubscribe method.
